Available from spring to autumn, Monsieur Papillon offers the Painted Lady (vanessa cardui) caterpillar on artificiel diet from April 4.
Each caterpillar is in an individual container with a soya flour based food mix.
Preservatives are added to insure the viability of the mixture till the end of the experience.

Beginner's Project: From caterpillar to butterfly
Price: $3.75 per unit for fifteen or more.
All caterpillars are in individual or double containers with a soya flour based food mix.
Expert's Project: Make your butterflies lay
Following the beginner or intermediate project, it is possible for you to make the butterflies you raised lay eggs and produce a second and third generation. The fact that you get the caterpillars as soon as the month of April will allow you to share the second generation with the rest of the school before the end of classes. Mr. Papillon sells basic food necessary for the growth of the caterpillars (second generation) for $1.50 for individual containers and $3.00 for double containers.
It is also possible to purchase flight cages directly with Mr. Papillon.
